To support the development of the Club and Squash in Derbyshire, we are investing in growing our Coaching Capacity.
Coaches
We currently have 4 Club Coaches; 2 Level 2 and 2 Level 1. Mark Gorman (L2) is our Club Coach.
Squash Stars
Squash Stars is our new, unmissable junior programme for kids aged 5-11. This six-week programme builds fundamental skills and confidence, encouraging kids to reach for the stars on and off court.
For just £20, your child will get six sessions and a kit bag which includes a racket, ball, t-shirt and goggles.

Coached sessions
All our Junior Club sessions, Primary Taster Sessions and Youth Squash Club Sessions are fully coached.
Coaching services
Club members or guests can have group or 1:1 coaching through our Club Coaches. All funds for L1 Coaching go back into the Club.
- Junior Squash – All sessions are fully coached Members £2 / Guests £3
- Group Squash 101 for 4-6 Adults £6pp/40mins – All equipment provided and includes Court Fee
- Group Coaching – L1 £6pp / L2 £10pp min 4 per 40 min session – All equipment provided and includes Court Fee
- 1:1 Coaching – L1 £20pp / L2 £30pp per 40 min session plus Court Fee – All equipment provided
Racketball Taster and Coaching is also available at the L1 rates above. All Equipment Provided.
Becoming a Sports Leader or Coach

Becoming a referee
If you are interested in attending a Derbyshire Squash Referee course or would like to progress to County level and Tournament refereeing, please contact John Holt.
