This is a Partnership between Ashbourne Squash Club, Freedom Leisure, local coaches, Derbyshire Squash and England Squash.
Through the CSP we are:
Engaging with local schools to encourage more children and young peoples’ participation in squash in Derbyshire with a focus on Youth Development; and
Encouraging more people to get active by having a go or returning to a sport with both Squash and Racketball (Squash 57) which is great for different groups, ages and abilities.
Community Squash
The programme consists of three elements: Squash taster sessions, Junior Squash Club and Youth and Family Squash sessions.
Squash Taster Sessions
Primary Schools
Following a successful pilots with Osmaston and St Oswalds Schools we have extended our Primary Taster Sessions to any Ashbourne Primary School Primary School. Please contact John Holt if your school is interested.
So far over 150 Primary School Children have had a go at Squash for the first time through our Community Squash Partnership!
Junior Squash Club

Youth Squash
Secondary Schools
We are working with QEGS in Ashbourne to provide Squash Taster Sessions, after school Youth Squash Club and Pro-Squash Coaching for Students during PE sessions. View our Junior Page
Family Squash
We offer a Family and Junior Squash session where Parents or Carers can have a go at squash and/or play with their Children! View our Squash Page
